Channahon State Park

If the weather is cooperating and you are in the Chicago area, check out Channahon State Park.  It is a cute little day park to have a picnic lunch, do some fishing if you wanted, or take a walk along the trail that follows the river.  There is the original locktenders house at Lock 6 on the I&M canal and couple other non-working locks to check out!
