Spruce Knob is something that can't be imagined.  It is something that you have to see with your own eyes and definitely worth it.  There is a short walk that leads to an observation deck that you can view it from or walk a little further down a trail and you will come to a clearing of rocks that is an even better view.  Spruce knob is very picturesque especially during the sunrise and sunset, but there is so much to do around there if you are the outdoorsy folk like us.  You can hike, camp, creek walk, go to the lake and fish (we did it with a soda can, recycled fishing line, and a sacrificial grasshopper), ride bikes, and by far my favorite two things: picture taking and stargazing.  You can see the milky way!
